Gwanaksan is one of our favorite hikes to do in Seoul, as it's the perfect length at about four hours up and down, and has one of the coolest Buddhist temples I've ever seen on the face of a cliff called Yongewam. There are multiple routes to get up the mountain, and I recommend the route that starts right by the entrance of Seoul National University. You can get there by taking the new Shilim subway line to Kwanaksan station. The hike offers beautiful views of the city and is a great spot to enjoy nature.Gwanaksan is one of the tallest mountains in Seoul, located in the district of Kwanaku.
